Liberty Pattern Company is experiencing rapid growth as an industry leader in high-precision casting tooling for aerospace and defense foundries. We are looking for a highly mechanically inclined Welder Fabricator to focus on building tooling support structures, jigs, and fixtures.

Why Liberty Pattern?

  • 100% Company-Paid Family Insurance: We pay the full premium for health, dental, and vision for you and your entire family. $0 out of your paycheck for coverage.
  • Quarterly Profit Sharing: Direct participation in our growth with an incentive bonus distributed every three months.
  • Company-Funded Pension: Build real retirement security with a pension plan fully funded by company contributions.
  • Paid Time Off (PTO) & Holidays: Competitive Paid Time Off accrual and 11 paid holidays.

  • Premium Shop Perks: Air-conditioned facility, weekly company-provided breakfast (Tuesdays) and lunch (Thursdays).

Key Responsibilities

  • Precision Fabrication: Layout and build tooling support structures and fixtures using high-quality MIG and occasional TIG welding.
  • Shop Tool Mastery: Proficiency operating standard metal shop tools and fabrication equipment (saws, grinders, drills, etc.) is a must.
  • Technical Interpretation: Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and blueprints for the layout and assembly of support frames and structural weldments.
  • Precision Measurement: Use of measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, squares, etc.) to ensure all fabrication meets strict tolerances.
  • Manual Machining: Set up and operate a Bridgeport manual mill for precision facing and drilling patterns (a major plus).
  • Quality Standards: Maintain high standards for our ISO-certified aerospace foundry infrastructure.

Requirements

  • The "Builder" Mindset: Must be inherently mechanically inclined—someone who understands the logic of how parts fit together.
  • Experience: 3+ years in a job shop or precision fabrication environment.
  • Technical Skills: Welding experience is required; proficiency with manual machining (Bridgeport) is highly desired.
