Are you a compassionate and dedicated nurse looking to make a difference in the lives of others? St. Luke's Hospital Transitional Care Center is currently seeking a Weekend Package Nurse (LPN or RN) to join our team for the 6A-6P shift on weekends. As part of our team, you will have the opportunity to provide top-notch care to our residents and support their transition back to health.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in a skilled nursing facility setting
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to ensure the best possible outcomes for patients
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Assist with admissions, discharges, and transfers
- Document patient care accurately and timely
Qualifications:
- Active LPN or RN license in the state of Iowa
- Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing facility
- CPR certification
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
